Be Gone, Red Plum

Spam in my snail mail box!

Am I the only one in the world who hates the Red Plum advertising packets that cram my mailbox every week? Judging by my building's bulging recycle bin, no, I'm not. No one needs 10¢ off a microdermabrasion treatment! Today, I finally looked around for a way to unsubscribe from the devil's direct mail list and it was surprisingly easy. Here's the link. You can thank me by saying so in the comments. No postage required.

You won't be missed.

  1. Thank you! It pisses me off that it's legal to just start sending superfluous crap to people.

  2. I despise red plum and I am claiming the devils are OUT OF BUSINESS. This stuff is cramed down my throat every week for as long as I can remember. I was told today by corporate that my address was public record and they had the right to do as they wanted. My "real mail" is continually lost in there crap and it falls all over the street. This mountain is removed and they are out of business Now.

  3. Everytime I move, I am greeted with the Redplum junk.

It takes ~6 weeks to get rid of it. But it takes nothing to start receiving it. Just move to a new address!

By the way, thanks for the tip!

    1. Oh I wish I could sue them to recoup all the late fees I've paid when my little local water bill 4x6" postcard was stuffed in between this mess of junk and missed.

  10. Beware RedPlum restarted delivery after one year although the agreement was for five years.

I find the flyers at my door equally despicable and impossible to remove

  12. Thanks for the link. I am one of the many people who absolutely despise RedPlum. I've lost real mail a number of times because it got mixed-in with the mismatched pile of crappy coupons I never asked for and never use! - J.O.

  14. I've 'unsubscribed' many many times from RedSpam's garbage waste of paper junk coming to my mailbox but it just keeps coming. I advocate we all post repeated messages on their Facebook page and shut it down.

Also there has to be an attorney out there somewhere willing to open a class action suit against them for damages since they obviously dont give a fuck about anyone that doesnt want their shit.
